woah. found an artist on tumblr who is blatantly ripping off at least 2 different painters. same concept, same color palette, even the same compositions. almost carbon copies. unfortunately they don’t have the same skill/command of the brush as the original artists do so their art is only ever going to be second rate but this makes me sad… why not explore your own creativity? why waste your own time and resources on making copies and hurt the original artists in the process?
개•새•끼 geh•sek•gi virtuous spirit another rare three character name! like 쓰레기, 개새끼 is a name usually reserved for royalty. however, 개새끼 is far more prestigious and due to the patriarchal systems of ancient korea, this name was usually reserved for males.
Nipple tape is a thing or you just put tape on your nipple...
did you google it? yes it’s a thing some brands even offer reusable, washable tape but like most adhesives they do lose staying power over time and if ya girl is really in a bind then hell yeah i use blue painters tape
oh man i just checked and ipod classics now cost about $400 new on amazon now (taxes/fees included). to whoever suggested me to just buy another one, kindly step off, if i could afford to casually buy backup ipods i definitely would
oh god my heart just skipped a beat the ipod classic got discontinued?!! i get so worried for mine it’s about 2-3 years old and i baby it soo much, i track and make mental notes of how much the battery longevity declines after each charge, i get emotional every time i realize i accidentally left my ipod in the car for hours in 80+ degree weather, i flinch so hard when i knock it on a hard surface or drop it on the floor… it’s my lifeline. and now it’s going to be really difficult to replace should i ever have to.
i usually don’t use shampoo when i wash my hair i use a cleansing conditioner instead because my hair is very dry but i decided to shampoo my hair with shimmer lights today and i didn’t even leave it on for 2 minutes and my hair is now stained PURPLE
i remember in the fourth grade, i had a friend named uche who was half swedish and half black. we got along really well (soccer girls!! i played 12 seasons believe it or not) and one day she told me she would be visiting sweden over the summer. she was really excited for following few months and she would always talk about moomin and anything related to moomin. she brought in moomin stuffed animals to class and wore moomin shirts all the time. anyway, summer rolled around and uche flew off to sweden with her family to her long-awaited vacation. weeks later, on the first day of fifth grade, uche ran up to me and handed me a little bag with a shiny blue moomin keychain inside. we weren’t even that close, it was just so touching that she would even think to get sombody a gift like that. it was a nice moment during elementary school and i felt like sharing ^0^
do you ever experience that sensation where you’re talking about something you’re really, really passionate about but the person you’re talking to just draws a really blank face patiently waiting for you to finish speaking
i am trying to shoot my body for reference photos for my nude self portrait… i wouldn’t feel comfortable doing a photoshoot with another photographer so i am trying to pose myself and use a self timer but the whole process is foreign and difficult and i am flailing around in my living room naked in desperate need of assistance
What art school are you going to?/was it hard to get in
my school is a poisonous, competitive, soul-sucking environment that feeds off the debilitating mental health and trust funds of its students. it’s cutthroat and i don’t have any friends there. it is hard to be accepted. whatever academic achievements you earned before attending basically have no standing with the admissions committee; having a professional, contemporary, industrial portfolio is what matters the most. also i am “competing” (that word is discouraged) against undergraduate students whose ages range from 17 to 50+, age divisions are very apparent. i chose it for reasons i won’t get into. feel free to message me off anon for more info/the name of the school.
so weird! sometime last week when i was walking to the apartment in bushwick i came across a cardboard box filled with smashed records? i dug around and lifted 2 clean copies and took one of them home to la with me. i just listened to it and it isn’t half bad, and i have to say that my heart goes out to whoever paid to get all that vinyl pressed :—(
A dark and tense track by the french composer Vladimir Cosma, much more known for his work as a film music composer on a lot of french comedies than for the gems he has done in the library music area. Patchwork 20 focuses on drama atmosphere.
i am 2 hours early for my flight so i am sitting in jfk, at gate 42, watching the sun rise serenely with a fresh cup of ground dirt from dunkin donuts scalding my hand. this is a morning of mixed feelings.
